How to Apply for Financial Aid
To apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is a form that collects information about your family’s income and assets. The FAFSA is used to determine your financial need and your eligibility for financial aid.
You can complete the FAFSA online at the FAFSA website. You can also download a paper FAFSA form and mail it to the U.S. Department of Education.
Once you have completed the FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR will show you the amount of financial aid you are eligible for.
