Academic Excellence
Academic excellence is a primary criterion for selecting MEXT scholarship recipients. Applicants with strong academic records, high GPAs, and exceptional research experience are more likely to be selected.
Graduate and doctoral applicants are expected to have a clear research plan and demonstrate a strong potential for academic success in Japan.
